A black-and-white mural of an airplane with a black rose drawn in the background was painted in memory of the recent tragedy of MH17 - 298 passengers and crew of Malaysian Airlines Flight.
38 year old local artist Eric Lai decided to change his initial plan from painting something to celebrate Independence Day to paint the mural to pay tribute to those who lost their lives in MH17.
You can find these mural painted at an alley behind Jalan Masjid and Jalan Sultan Iskandar with the helped of students.
